arcs of these two ports (see map) date back to medieval times, around the age of the common, about 1200-1300, perhaps earlier. The stone cutting reveals a strong bill of attention and special skills on the part of the stonemason.
These testimonies, in Romanesque style, there are still many, particularly within the stables and cellars to the ground floor or basement, while outside were often covered with plaster and ground with lintels rights. 
In a next post we will witness that the country dates back to the High Middle Ages (see Archives of the agrarian community of Piaggiasecca, and Casalvanto Colmic), perhaps before the year one thousand and that is descended from a Roman settlement located 450-500 meters north in Piana Little House of and Sorbo (see overview below). The area may have been inhabited by the Gauls , by following their invasion in the northern Marches took place in 390 BC.
